So I am playing around in the kitchen whipping up something for a pot-luck and I came up with the following:

you will need:
sesame seeds (rich in Ca+)
honey
cacao
maca
carob (optional)
shredded coconut (optional)

* Grind up sesame seeds (in coffee mill) to yield ~2-3 cups
* Transfer to a food processor and add ground cacao (amount varies on how much you like but I put in about 1/4 cup cacao, 1T maca, 2T carob)
* Process and then while running drizzle in about 1/4c or more honey until it becomes a ball of goo. You can use agave or yacon syrup if you prefer (I also added just a TOUCH of coconut water).
* Roll into balls and place into bowl with shredded coconut - coat the halva balls with the coconut and refrigerate.

*** the dough is a bit sticky especially if using honey so I take a teaspoon of coconut oil and grease my hands so the dough doesn't stick to my hands (although it is fun to eat off of your partners fingers if you are creating this yumminess in the kitchen together!!!)
