Hi all,

I have been working on my morning-afternoon cacao drink, and would like to share the ingredients and see what I can add (or subtract) to enhance and balance it. I have a feeling it is a little on the stimulating side, and needs some balance though I'm not sure what to add. Okay, so here goes:

Into a warm fo ti tea _base_, I add:

2 T cacao
3 T gojis
1/2 vanilla bean
1 T coconut oil
1 T manuka honey
1 t cacao powder
1/2 - 1 t maca extreme
2 t regular maca
1/2 t cayenne
1/2 t black pepper
pinch himalayan salt
1 capsule ho shou wu extract (teagarden.com)
1 capsule reishi (mushroom science)

Any suggestions?? I have been thinking about various herbs but not sure which direction to move in (I am not so well researched on herbs). I have also been curious about kola nut and nutmeg (grating in a little of each), but don't have a grinder yet. My intrigue for deer antler abated when I read Mark's post about it tasting like raw animal (though I could be persuaded). Thanks!
