Since a lot of people here seem to be interested in doing more blended foods, I wanted to share my current experiments, after about a year of doing 1 or 2 blended "meals" daily (at least two drinks daily for the past six months)... these consist of sweet superfood shakes, and blended veggie soups. Below is an example of a veggie soup I would make.

You will definitely need a high-powered blender (Vitamix or K-Tec) for this. Try it out if you're interested, and definitely feel free to alter the recipe according to your taste preferences, ingredients on hand, and your hunger.

A savory blended veggie soup

- 6 oz. water (or herbal tea)
- 3/4 quart chopped celery (I fill up a quart mason jar 3/4 full)
- 1/3 small lemon (remove skin, but keep pith and seeds)
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, diced
- 2 heaping TBS Rejuvenative Foods kim-chi (any flavor is good)
- 1 large handful baby spinach (or other fresh green)
- 1 TBS Coconut Oil
- 14 Truly Raw Cashews
- 1 TBS Quantum Rx Tomato concentrate
- 1 TBS Vitamineral Green
- 1 tsp Non-GMO Lecithin (optional)

Put everything in the blender and blend for about 40-60 seconds, to make sure everything is pulverized. I usually put the water in first, then the powders and oil.

That's a good example of what I make, although I shift things around almost every day depending on what I'm in the mood for, and for variety. Using the kim-chi adds a lot of flavor and is incredible for digestive fire and boosting immunity, but sometimes I leave it out and use more ginger, or a radish or two, and/or other spices (cumin or curry powder are yummy). You could also use onion or garlic instead. I rotate the fresh green leaves (I've been into spinach lately, but sometimes instead I use radish greens, cabbage, kale, etc.), and sometimes use half a cucumber as a substitute for some of the celery. And for the fats, sometimes instead of cashews or coconut oil (or in addition to), I use one or more of these: olives, hemp seeds, brazil nuts, olive oil. Avocados, or any nuts/seeds/oils you like would work great.

I also add my tonic herbs into the mix, so feel free to open capsules and dump any herbs you're into in there with the veggies... it won't ruin the flavor :)

Enjoy your veggies!!
