David Wolfe sells dried bananas on his site. I guess they are special bananas though.
Honey has 400% more sugar per gram than bananas. David Wolfe says ‘honey is the best thing ever!’
Im confused.
David Wolfe sell more REFINED sugar on his site than any one else except maybe Matt Monarch. They both talk about how bananas are bad ‘cos of too much sugar’ but they both sell REFINED sugar in the form of agave, yacon, cracako bars, honey etc.
Dont eat a diet based on fruits and veg peeps cos then you might wake up to the truth.
Hi Durian, I will have David look at your comments and offer a reply. David does not say bananas are ‘bad’ as a blanket statement. Conventional bananas are generally produced from cloned cells and many gases are placed around the trees to artificially ripen them to get that real yellow look. Also David does not say that sugar is ‘bad’ as a blanket statement unless you are dealing with candida, cancer, or other conditions that thrive on sugar. Also none of the sweeteners we sell such as the banana flakes are refined, they are concentrated by dehydration. It seems you are not listening to David’s words very carefully. Also having just spent the weekend with him i can say that David loves fruit. He ate pineapple, apple, oranges, and grapes all throughout the weekend and seemed to love all of it. He also enjoyed Reishi, chaga, and many other wonderful medicinal herbs and of course….avocados.
Robert Cassar sells dried bananas which still have the seeds in them. In this lecture he advocates HeirLooM Bananas! around the seven-minute mark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01sSfF7evmA&feature=player_embedded#at=315Challenge: watch all the way through. He exposes the hybridizers and their profit motives. He has the gaul to promote (heirloom) cacao, btw.
I love a guy who rails against GMO and goes behind the scenes about the Maltese Cross.
What I understand it is not about sugar rather information various food contains. Codded messages your body unfolds from raw wild honey must be hugely different then cloned bananas. That’s all, if you like it and feel great after having it – stick with it, especially now you know that’s behind the scene in the process. Na-zdorovie…Cheers to your health?
Interesting discussion on bananas. We have been boycotting commercial bananas and buying locally grown bananas from road side stalls and farmers markets. They are these cute little bananas called lady fingers with a far out slightly lemon flavor!
