I have a water softening whole house water filter. I was thinking of getting something for my drinking water and was thoroughly confused as to what to get. I have heard of Kangen and also heard to get a distiller. Even after listening to your podcast I am still not sure what to get. I would like to get the black mica but also think i should start with better water. What would you recommend?? I do believe water is the basis for good health and don’t want to buy something and then find out it was the wrong thing. Since I have not made any purchase as of yet I would prefer to buy what would be considered the best choice. I would really appreciate your recommendation..

  • Paula March 12, 2011

Also, I guess I should ask, would it be necessary to get something for my drinking water if I was using the black mica?

  • Marina March 12, 2011

It sounds like a water Alkalyzer machine would NOT be recommended, so is it enough to add Black Mica to tap water that has been distilled through the Brita filter?

  • george formosa March 12, 2011

I come from Gozo,Malta, We use to drink from an undeground well back when i was young, it was so good, Now it has e coli, municipal water is full of clorine, i have a reverse osmosis filter. Can i get rail water to drink? We only have one power station that is working with diesel power , on the main land.
    thanks for the great work
    George

this is a controversial topic for many reasons (think about it), i think what they are saying is
    1) test your water’s ph, whatever the source.
    2) get clean water, within the ph range suggested
    3) add black mica or adya clarity

best choice: unpasteurized spring water, next best: a bottled pasteurized spring water, next best: reverse osmosis. tap or brita’ed tap is probably at the bottom of the list.

  • Gaye March 12, 2011

Again Generally what is decent sorce for good water? I’m still confused

  • Jason March 13, 2011

Request the current “Water Quality Report” for your city. Some cities post this online. Research the chemicals used in your local water management and respond accordingly.

You must know what it put it your local water supply. It varies from one town to the next. Seek out the purest source. Prepare for a detailed informational battle. Blessings.

  • hmk March 13, 2011

Matt was trying hard, probably too hard. Didn’t answer any basic questions. Still have no idea what to do for water consumption. I don’t even know if springs are a good choice now because the most direct question, regarding Mountain Valley water, was answered with pointless, endless verbal confusion………..actually the interviewer started to ask a direct succinct question about Mountain Valley and then HE stretched his question to an unnecessary, extended, and painful length…….must be contagiuos in these situations.

  • mufasa March 13, 2011

is “mountain valley spring water” UN-Pasturised? please let me know its PH is high, like 7.5 isn’t that too high, i heard its better at 6.5- 7.0 please answer… Thanks

  • Elsie March 13, 2011

I have well water, so how and what should I do to make it better? thanks

  • Anonymous March 13, 2011

Hi, I use a MICROLITE WATER IONIZER and drink good water
It is expensive but worth it

  • Maggie March 13, 2011

I’ve bought a distiller and am not happy with it. I bought an alkanizer machine and am not happy with it. I have looked into Johann Gander water and found some distributors in North America and have ordered one of his units for my water. I expect it will improve my water. You can find you tubes on “Top Secret Water” for Gander to learn more. (For decades I had reverse osmosis, but the house where I live now does not have it.)

  • Kenneth March 13, 2011

Not trying to be negative, but I posted a message earlier and it’s no longer here. I also noticed at least one other reply that is no longer here. So, does this mean if we question and/or propose solutions that are beyond your current paradigm (and/or sales agenda), you will remove our posts? Perhaps it’s time to unsubscribe?

  • Vicki Lewis March 13, 2011

I have heard that Pristine Hydro filtration system is good. Have you had any experience with this machine? I’m so happy to hear another view of Kangen. My intuition has been telling me that this is not the right product for me. The sales pitch on these machines is strong. What I use now is a sink filter called Third Wave. I’ll test ph on this and then consider adding black mica to the water. Any thoughts on this idea?

  • Stephanie Hubbard March 13, 2011

Gee. ??? Steam distilled is not Britta fiitered . Thankyou for your lecture…. but it only “appears” to confuse the average person. I have been drinking Steam Distilled water for over 30 years and I am not mineral deficient!!!! I do take a mineral supplement and fulvic and mulic acid in capsule form. Doesn’t the human body get tons of minerals from a plentiful organic vegetable and fruit diet and ingesting celtic or himalayin …. non denatured salt …. indesting……minerals that the body can absorb and utilize???It “appears to me that you are intentionally not “clear” because your intention is to sell your mica product??? Sincerely
    Stephanie

  • Jim March 13, 2011

mufasa, i have heard daniel vitalis give mountain valley a decent recommendation. that is, he said it wasn’t too bad. so, for bottled water, i guess that’s something.

i don’t have a science background. so my problem with this interview is typical with these guys who throw around terms like everyone knows what they mean. i’m playing this again & again just to pick up what i can. it ends abruptly, but it’s better than nothing, way better.

  • Alis March 13, 2011

hi, I drink “Natural Mineral Alkalife Water”, drawn from the source pH 8.27″…. am above average healthy, have had a long period of being lethargic/energy-less whilst drinking this water,my BP was quite high, always felt liek I was in a coma like state kind of like battling chronic fatigue…. I’ve take a hiatus from it for over 3 months and tried drinking other bottled waters….must admit wasn’t happy drinking water from other sources because it taste is yuk,BUT my BP dropped, and my energy levels even without Vitamin/Mineral supplements is rising….I feel thirsty all the time though …miss drinking “Alkalife Water” almost like a drug….but my energy levels are a lot better almost as if all energy was taken up battling something….am curious

  • Susan Laing March 13, 2011

    BRILLIANT!(;

  • Corry March 13, 2011

It seems no one has heard of photonic water or utopic water. Check this out people…this is your solution ….it’s so simple and so inexpensive!

  • Mitch Smith March 14, 2011

Ok…..Len Foley should have clarified there is a distinction between freshwater ph and pasteurized water ph…Freshwater you want a low ph below 7. However, Moutain Spring Valley Water is pasteurized and does have a very high ph around 7.8 which is ok since it is pasteurized.
What concerns me is the the comment about fulvic acid. Matt Bakos mentioned he “got out of the busienss’ and I am very concerned as a fulvic acid consumer. Can David Wolfe please clarify???

  • david March 14, 2011

I am using Ionways filter.. trying to hit 7 ph balance normally.. does the author (speaker) suggest we should buy a mica product to add to this water? thanks for interesting if complex topic

  • ew March 14, 2011

I am totally confused now about fulvic acid, as Mr. Bakos comments on how dangerous it is when it comes in contact with chlorine, and as such stays away from it – something David Wolfe claims to be one of his favorite mineral supplements (with a very safe profile). What do I do now that I have purchased it and drink it along side my city-water which no doubt has chlorine?

    I would love some clarification!!!

  • Lucien Gauthier March 14, 2011

fulvic acid isn’t the problem its the chlorine…dont mix them.

  • Diana March 15, 2011

I was really looking forward to some clarificaton on how to obtain good drinking water as I live in Jamaica and currently drinking bottled spring water from a local spring Catherine’s Peak . I understand this spring is found at the bottom or somewhere near blue mountain. My concern is that this is still not the best water as it still has to go through a purification process which also makes it acidic. I have to say the podcast was not laymany friendly as did not really provide the solution I am looking for.

I am not sure whether DW is able to address this as it appears I am not the only one left slightly disappointed?

This was part 1 of the interview..the last 35 minutes are on TheBestDayEver.com. We try to give out as much free info as we can but our members have to get first priority. This media blog is meant to give you an idea of what you will find on TBDE.com. Soon i will load up some sample videos so you can see what kind of Videos we have from David ect… For now ill give everybody this free tip David emailed to all of us this evening:

    Longevity Team,

It looks like two or three of the reactors at Fukushima are in the process of melting down. I flew within several hundred miles of Tokyo last nite when we left Seoul. It was all over Seoul TV. American television is covering it up, but that won’t last for long. It is bad. Probably the worst disaster in history. And the fallout is heading for the West Coast of America and Canada with Oregon and Northern California likely to get the worst of it.

    I put this together:

“In light of the meltdown of Fukushima: How to protect yourself and your thyroid against radiation: kelp, ginseng, ashwaganda (recently found to regrow nerves), chlorella, zeolites, fulvic acid, nascent iodine, reishi mushroom, sea salt (also salty miso), botanical (plant-derived) or lipo- vitamin C, magnesium (chlorophyll), selenium (brazil nuts), coconut butter, Megahydrate, Crystal Energy. Spread the word.”

This is not a sales pitch this is what he personally recommended to our team who are based mostly in California. Hope it helps!

    Lu-Shen

Thank you for your research and interest in the changing ways to make
sure we get the best water we can – but the questions are endless
as people search for the right solution – where do you post your
answers though? It would be great to have them on that same
page as far as you can…..

We really appreciate all the comments and questions and we try to provide free content that will help people in their daily health strategies. At the moment we have only enough staff to handle the member-site, http://www.thebestdayever.com. There, David does 1 interview a month for about 2- 2.5 hours and answers questions that are posted on the forums from our members as well as special interviews that focus on specific health arenas. We are also fortunate to have highly advanced students of David Wolfe who can answer many of these questions as well as give great guidance from years of experience. As much as I hate to just plug the member site it, that is where you will find most of the answers. We have hundreds of audio and video as well as the forums and we place no limit on the downloads you can access per month. I would suggest signing up for the 9.99 first month special and downloading everything you can and then cancel!

I cannot drink the chlorinated city water, have to haul in well water from friends, in glass jugs. If I add Black Mica to boiled or filtered city tap water, would that be
    clean enough to drink?

Anyone know about John Ellis’s water distiller machine? Sounds like this Adya Clarity product or Black Mica Extract does the same things it does. The website for it is johnellis.com . So I believe this product has some merit to it.

  • James October 31, 2011

This Black Mica / Adya Clarity topics is also controversial. Who really knows what the Adya Clarity is putting in your water? Has anyone tested the water they use in the product for radiation since it comes from Japan?

  • james November 2, 2011

why are people so stupid when it comes to water, stop being so self absorbed and get a good RO machine from O2O3 Oxygyn Ozone. Anyone who touts a water product, especially Kangan is a ripoff ans as we see can be dangerous. Not the best day ever.

  • Ash November 9, 2011

This is an attack to bring Adya down! Adya Inc. stands behind their label, there is absolutely no issue with the product, it is safe, it has passed the Canada Health department (which requires clinical studies to approve products). Adya Inc. says that the Aluminum inside is the same as found in a banana, and other raw fruits and veggies. It’s not the toxic kind such as in pots and pans (metallic). The trace amount occurs when properly diluted (as the label states). The product has been around for 40 years, and has benefited millions of people. It’s used in agriculture, aquaculture, and water cleaning. I suggest to you to read more updates about this attack on Adya and see that it’s false. Here are all the responses: http://www.blackmicaextract.biz/response.html Latest press release: www.AdyaClarity.com FDA regulations per trace mineral labeling; Aluminum safety, etc: http://adyaclarity.com/research Facebook testimonials: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Adya-Clarity-Page/167760793237826
